The Nintendo Switch features the marriage of home gaming and portable console. The "Nintendo Switch" is a very unique hybrid console, where everyone can play it inside and even outside the house. When you're heading out, you can lift Switch from the dock and the system will "instantly transition to portable mode" so you can take your game with you. For instance, a single set of Joy-Con controllers - which can be attached to each other, attached to either side of the Switch's screen, or broken apart and used individually - will come bundled with the console.

This new gaming console is created to be used as both a home console and a portable one, have a look at the video below, which shows the device in action, it looks pretty cool.

Two controllers add onto the tablet to turn it into a Nintendo Wii U-like game pad.

"We have made no announcement regarding the future of Nintendo 3DS". With Splatoon thriving with its online multiplayer, it's the ideal game for the Switch.

We also see the man using a separate, more traditionally shaped controller instead of the modular one included with the console. Some of the games we already got to see in the demo were Mario Kart 8, Skyrim: Remastered Edition, a new Mario game, and also Splatoon.
