Wisconsin Badgers headed to Big Ten Championship Game

Armstrong missed Saturday's 28-7 win over Maryland with a hamstring injury but returned to practice in a limited capacity on Monday. Washington rolled up 386 yards in the first half, 252 coming in the first quarter and capitalized on three big mistakes by Washington State. The Hawkeyes claimed their first Big Ten shutout since 2009 with a 28-0 victory at IL last Saturday.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz didn't mind that either. "We were really close, but we have a chance to finish it off Saturday". Wilhite broke the streak at 22-20, the Gophers tied it up at 23, and a block by Lohman and Hart forced a Nebraska timeout down 24-23. "He is a tremendous player".

Offense, defense, special teams, they all showed up.

Last season, Armstrong's four interceptions to zero touchdowns proved to be a difference maker, as the Cornhuskers fell to the Hawkeyes 28-20.

Lavon Coleman added 82 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.

"Last year maybe we got the best of him, but the year before he was the guy that had the last laugh on that last play (in the overtime win at Kinnick Stadium)", Ferentz said.

"It breaks - it hurts us", Davis said. It's been a good series here recently. They lost a seven-point game to Northwestern the following week, then got another tough 14-7 win against Minnesota. "You have to be prepared for anything".

Nonetheless, Wisconsin would still represent the division in the title game against either Michigan, Ohio State or Penn State.

The Hawkeyes haven't allowed a point in their last 70 minutes of playing time and are allowing just 18.6 per game, which is fourth-best in the Big Ten.

If Nebraska and Wisconsin win this weekend, they tie for the division title.

Arsene Wenger: 'No reason for Arsenal to panic'
I think we have to wait for the draw because if you look at all of the groups, you can not really guess if it is good or bad. Recall that Arsenal last won the EPL title at the 2003/2004 season when the club finished unbeaten.

"From my angle I guess I think it staying in your gap, getting pushed out of your gap", Gerry said. "It's not that common". "There's not going to be that many people in the picture of double digit wins during the season".

The Huskers will now have to wait until next Sunday to find out what bowl game they will play in. Wins against ranked Nebraska and Big Ten powerhouse MI should help in that process, as will a win in another Florida bowl game, where the Hawkeyes are always popular. "There's a bunch of reasons".

Iowa (7-4, 5-3) is bowl eligible for the 15th time in the last 16 seasons.

Wisconsin had a straightforward path to Indianapolis, win out and the West was theirs.

The first score came in the first quarter when junior running back Akrum Wadley ran untouched for a 75-yard touchdown.

It was unquestionably the worst game Iowa had played as a team since their horrendous 2014 campaign, and it was by far the worst game of the season.

Nebraska's other score came on a 4th-and-8 pass from the 13 to Stanley Morgan to make it 26-10 in the third quarter. Just like past year, the defense was good at plugging the gaps and running by committee to the ball. "The objective is having at least one more point than your opponent". Because there's nearly a ceiling of how much Iowa can score, it's all dependent on how much the Huskers can score and how impactful and dominant Iowa's defense can be. Lot of good complementary team football.

"We want to take care of our business". But anyway, that's not us. "That'd be pretty cool if both of us get it".

The odds are quite good for the Badgers to make the playoffs if they do win out. "We're going to need our crowd to blow the roof off of Devaney".

Despite being neighbors, most of the football history between Iowa and Nebraska's came before World War II. "It was a combination of everything, but we just didn't put the pressure on them when we had opportunities". "It's not that common", Riley said. "I think I said at the beginning of the season, I'd rather pancake somebody than catch the ball". "Obviously, I would have loved to have finished the play, but it was just an excellent job by everybody". "I'm really disappointed all the way around in all of us and all of the parts".
