Since there is no big ticket film releasing in the next two week, "Dangal" has a clear window to break all records this year.

These movies both Sultan and Dangal have completely different stories. The plot revolves around how he reinvents his wrestler streak in mixed martial arts. Aamir Khan was ruthless as the stern, unrelenting father, determined to make his daughters strive for the same goal. The response was not good as of other days but very strong to lead film to 125 crore rupees club in 4 days.

'Dangal' is as much about Geeta and Babita as it is about Mahavir Phogat. These were the questions everyone had on their minds. Right from the first day of release the movie had got only positive reviews from all over and it had turned out to be a collection spinner at the box office. Analysts and multiplexes believe the movie could notch up ₹100 crore in the opening weekend itself and become one of the top grossers. This is not the first time that such a thing has happened on a social media platform.

Going by third-day collections, Dangal has now the highest Sunday collections for any Hindi film. It releases in more than 1200 screens overseas along with the Indian market. But then again, Sultan's first three days were all in the weekdays - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Recently, though, Minnesota's defense has not played very well - mostly because of being on the field more than they should. They will clash against the Minnesota Vikings in one of the most important games for them this season.

According to reports, the Sunday collection is the highest one-day collection for any movie.

Like we said, Sultan obviously had a brilliant opening day because it released on Eid - a holiday. PK has broke all the record collections and raked over Rs 600 crores total. So Sultan won the first round!

Yet, in the the race of largest opening days, Dangal still came second to its nemesis. Nevertheless, made with a production budget of Rs. 70 Crores Dangal 3rd/4th day domestic box office collection is expected to garner an estimated figure of Rs. 66.21 Crores with an occupancy rate of 72%. The modern age piracy not only plagues filmmakers in today's day but also causes them heavy losses due to loss of viewership because of the leak. His previous Rs 100 crore grossing movies are Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 and PK.
