Detroit's game on Monday against the Dallas Cowboys has no bearing on the NFC North title, although the Lions could clinch a playoff spot with a win.

The Detroit Lions have a gripe for a few missed calls in their 42-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, just as they did following a playoff loss in this same building two years ago.

Kickoff for is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.

This game had the makings to be a slobber-knocker, but boy was this a snoozer; the first points of the game weren't scored until the end of the third quarter.

Stafford's Jekyll and Hyde effort left the Lions to fight an uphill battle, and Detroit's ill-timed defensive collapse in the second half squashed any hopes the team had of stamping a ticket to the postseason. There is nothing more the Cowboys can accomplish in the regular season. The availability of Darius Slay, the team's best corner, could be key in this one, especially if Dez Bryant is officially cleared to go. The NFL Odds for the game have the Cowboys favored by a touchdown to pick up the victory.

The triumph allowed the Cowboys to tie a franchise record with 13 wins-a mark they also hit in 1992 and 2007. He used his left to make a juggling grab for a 25-yard touchdown, helping the Cowboys tie the score, 21-21, before halftime. By the way, it is the hot Packers, who are winners of 5 straight games who Detroit will face next week at home in the season finale.

Is it all real? No Santa Claus! Thank God, he lives, and he lives forever. "A few years later they're asking for a laptop". The response, written without a byline by Francis Pharcellus Church, is the most reprinted editorial of all time.

ARLINGTON, Texas - If Jason Garrett chooses to sit some starters Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys coach will feel pretty good about how his offense is playing entering the playoffs following the first-round bye.

Another thing was that the Lions clearly put it on Stafford's shoulders with the no-huddle offense, despite finding some rushing success in the first half. It's been all on Matthew Stafford to move the ball as Detroit has one of the league's worst rushing attacks at 81.7 yards per game. The 34-year-old Witten, in his 14th season, had eight catches in the first half and 10 for the game, giving him 1,086.

"It gives us a chance to play the Cowboys again, so we'll root for them so we can play them again hopefully if we take care of our business", Garcon told the NFL Network, via The Washington Post. QB Dak Prescott started out strong but has struggled a bit as the season's worn on, and he's completing 67.7% of his passes for 3,418 yards, 20 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Zenner, who opened the season as Detroit's No. 4 tailback, eclipsed his career high by midway through the second quarter and finished with 64 for the game.

I don't know about you, but I don't think I would feel very comfortable with Cleary as a bookend on either side protecting the quarterback.
