Ronda Rousey invited to train with Cris Cyborg

Her latest performance over Rousey was nothing short of stunning as Nunes dismantled the former champion with a 48-second first round knockout at UFC 207. "I knew I could beat Ronda Rousey", she tells TMZ.

In any case, Rousey's brutal back-to-back losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes in the past year revealed to the world what Parillo says Justino's team has long known - that Rousey would struggle mightily with a striker like "Cyborg".

UFC women's bantamweight contender Cat Zingano isn't impressed with how Nunes has carried herself since a one-sided UFC 207 win over Ronda Rousey - and is promising to do something about it. "I think it's important for Ronda to show her fans how great she truly is by displaying her courage and giving it another try".

I reference Rousey in this context because, as reported on the August 12 edition of ESPN's Sports Center, she's now claiming that she can beat any man, including reigning boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, in a "no-rules fight" - whatever that means (knives allowed?). She was so dominate for all those years because she was very good at two things: executing her judo by getting her opponents to the ground and then using her jiu jitsu to submit her opponents.

Amanda Nunes has questioned Ronda Rousey's UFC legacy saying she can not understand how the former bantamweight queen was so dominant in her division. The second girl that could stand up and fight a little bit exposed her.

Rousey has done a tremendous deal for this sport, and it will forever be in her debt for the pedestal she has put it on given her massive super-stardom. The victor will nearly certainly be the next fighter to challenge Nunes for her title.

For her part, Rousey says she would still need some "time to reflect", to determine what her next move would be. If she were to ever sign with the company, she could work a part-time schedule much like that of Brock Lesnar, and there is no denying how popular that former UFC star is with wrestling fans.

Amanda Nunes isn't impressed by Ronda Rousey.

"She had really made some lifestyle changes, put her training first". Why would she want to keep doing this?

PATCO offers free rides for New Year's Eve revelers
Speaking of tradition, the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool will again host its annual New Year's Eve celebration from 7 p.m.to 1 a.m. She said past year about 70 per cent of trips had no surge pricing and only 10 per cent were jacked up more than three times.
