Panneerselvam is showing his true colours, says Sasikala — AIADMK crisis

Police, according to reports, claimed that 119 MLAs are living at the resort and none of them have complained that they are being held hostage by the Sasikala camp.

The rest of the MLAs are reportedly with Sasikala and holed up in a resort near Mahabalipuram, about 90 km from here.

In a dramatic development, School Education Minister Ma Foi Pandiarajan today has indicated his support to Panneerselvan.

Addressing her supporters, Sasikala warned that though the party would remain patient, it may not be for long. "It appears the situation is abnormal", Rosaiah said. "But, we don't know". Moreover, he has developed a working relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in these two months and it is said that the Centre prefers him to Sasikala. "That is true. (there may be criticism that) the Governor is not acting independently", he opined. However, many men come from the Opposition party, I will be the woman to face them.

Kumar has sought a stay on Sasikala's swearing-in contending that if she was convicted and forced to resign, there could be a "possibility of riots erupting all over Tamil Nadu". Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao was given additional charge of the southern state after Rosaiah retired.
