Neither is the Ryzen 7 a suitable alternative for the midrange Core i5 and budget Core i3-AMD is rumored to be planning more versions of the Ryzen to compete with those models, although the company hasn't announced anything publicly. The entire tech community was buzzing with rumors and speculations about Ryzen's performance, but now AMD has cleared it once and for all. This will put AMD Ryzen 7 1800X at the same level Intel's Core i7 6900K is. At $499, it's half the price of the Intel i7 6900K, runs at a higher clock speed and consumes less power. The 1800X has a base clock of 3.6GHz, boosting to 4GHz; the 1700X is 3.4GHz and 3.8GHz, and the 1700 is 3.0GHz and 3.7GHz. This 95-Watt TDP processor comes with the same cores and threads as its bigger brother, while clocking in at 3.4GHz for its base speed and a boosted frequency of 3.8GHz. The downside to these two chips is that neither include a cooler, though just about anyone who's willing to spend that much on a desktop CPU will probably already have their own cooling solution in mind.

Elaborating further, AMD chief executive, Dr. Lisa Su stated the new Ryzen range will comprise of three chips - Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 in descending order of price and performance.

"With an anticipated 82 new motherboards from ODMs worldwide, Ryzen-based designs from top global PC OEMs expected soon, and boutique SIs and OEMs showing extreme-performance PC designs, this will be a launch like no other", said Jim Anderson, senior vice president and general manager, Computing and Graphics Group, AMD. Trump also promised to always stay true to herself, no matter what the "opposition" says about her. Expenses for the trip will be covered by President Trump's campaign, not taxpayers.

AMD's Ryzen desktop processors are finally here, and they're poised to go directly into battle with Intel. If the test doesn't scale well with CPU cores, Intel would have a distinct clockspeed advantage, but then AMD wouldn't be using this benchmark if that were the case. The $329 price tag undercuts the i7-7700K, which sells for $350, by about 20 dollars, but AMD claims it will slightly exceed its performance.

Ryzen 7 consists of 3 CPUs, as you can see below.

AMD is looking to step up their game on processors, attempting to stand toe-to-toe with the industry champions at Intel. AMD's chip will also feature a L2 (4MB) and L3 (16MB) cache alongside a TDP of 95W. They pack about 4.8 billion transistors and, interestingly, contain 2 Km of internal wiring. The computer processor market has stagnated in the last five years.
