WWE WrestleMania 33: Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar for Universal Championship

Some questionable decisions were made last night at the Raw-exclusive Fastlane pay-per-view, with most of the focus falling on Goldberg's quick victory over Kevin Owens to become the new WWE Universal Champion.

Rich Swann & Akira Tozawa vs. Hope so. Anyway, a nothing match showed that Showe is still capable of pulling off a win as he continues his training for Shaq at Mania. It's the preshow match.

Samoa Joe delivers an ominous warning to his fellow WWE Superstars after submitting Sami Zayn at Fastlane. Joe was physically dominant throughout and Zayn was unable to cope with some high intensity moves from his opponent. Triple H vs. Seth Rollins? In the Fastlane, she was more into it and dominated Jax's attempts to take control of the game.

Banks had defeated Nia Jax earlier in the show, and it appears that a fatal-four-way match is now scheduled for Wrestlemania with the women's belt at stake. However, Neville has been a breath of fresh air for the Cruiserweight division since turning heel. Charlotte immediately cashed in her rematch clause for Fastlane. I can't imagine this being broken on a non-Big 4 PPV (WrestleMania, Summerslam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble). Anderson with the pin on Enzo as he gets his foot on the bottom rope, Gallows on the outside knocks it off as the Champs' retain. The Club won their first title just more than a month ago at the Royal Rumble. It's just not now. Gallagher landed three brutal head-butts on Neville, but it wasn't enough for him to steal the win. Now, after running roughshod over the roster (with a little help from his friends), he lost the belt in an explainable, but unavoidable, less-than-30-second squash match.

Plan and Prepare for severe weather into the evening
As you can see, the NWS Storm Prediction Center has areas much further south highlighted for a better chance at severe weather. And while those big temperature swings are impressive, I want to focus this blog on the potential for strong to severe storms.

Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer discussed the match and the finish on the Wrestling Observer radio and stated that the reason why WWE booked Owens to lose in 21 seconds was because of Goldberg's physical condition. Strowman would attack the Big Dog every week, and Strowman would nearly always win the battles.

Who should win Owens. It's about what's good for the company. Having former stars beating up-and-coming ones lessens the product and diminishes the current wrestler's shine. I liked the comedy segments, Owens and Jericho had great chemistry, but it was a mid-card act. Will Brock Lesnar or Chris Jericho get involved?

Why would Vince McMahon bother to build Owens properly when a Rock or Goldberg can be pulled out at this time of year to spike the buy rate (or these days, Network subscriptions)? Spectators were thrilled by Goldberg's spirit and win at his mid age.
