The final act has been eliminated from The Voice, and the final three contestants have been confirmed.

As he coolly approached runner up Jamie, Emma stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him, while security men dashed across the stage to pull the intruder away.

As we pointed out in our separate article over here about some of the finale performances, to us it felt as though Into the Ark was the act with the edge.

It also happens to be Dane from the band's 21st birthday today.

Hard dance moves, sexy outfits, catchy songs. It was an hour long, and while there was some filler and some guest performances, nothing felt like it was altogether stuffed out compared to some two-hour finales we've seen over the years.

The grand final also featured a performance by U.S. singer-songwriter John Legend, who debuted his new song Sure Fire.

Britain launches European Union exit process
Cameron's successor Mrs May on Wednesday notified the European Council president Donald Tusk that the United Kingdom was triggering article 50.

The victor of The Voice UK 2017 is Mo Adeniran.

Speaking on his exit, he said: "I just wanna say thank you I never thought I'd get this far".

The final two acts will take to the stage one last time to win over the voting public in order to score the prize of a record deal.

Reflecting on his favourite part of the show, coach Tom said: "My highlight is when we all sing together, the four coaches, when we do the coaches number".

Jamie Miller and Mo Adeniran both had Jennifer Hudson as their mentor and as such, the 35-year-old pop megastar was tasked with performing twice.

In a new move by the show, Mo will now head straight into the studio and record a winner's EP, which will be released in a few weeks time.
