Harry Styles ended his week-long Late Late Show residency with the event everyone has been waiting for: Carpool Karaoke, James Corden's signature segment (which is getting a primetime special on Monday).

First up the pair give Harry's own song Sign Of The Times a good karaoke go, and in an unusual move they belted out the entire track rather than just a snippet.

Although Styles did elaborate a little more, he neither confirmed nor denied the subject in the song was the "Blank Space" singer.

For his performance, the single played without a band; instead, he accompanied his impressive vocal range with an acoustic guitar that he played himself.

"I feel like I have more control over the buttons", Styles told host James Corden.

It was awesome to see Harry wearing a flowing, unbuttoned white shirt and black trousers - his sexiest look yet - as he crooned the soulful song.

"I find it quite emotional", Styles added, "in, like, a cool way". Back in 2015, Styles sat in the backseat as they took a spin around the block with his former One Direction bandmates.

They also launched into a spirited rendition of "Hey Ya" by OutKast, and Harry's go-to karaoke song "Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.

Lastly, the two discussed Styles' involvement in the upcoming film Dunkirk.

"Did you just say "in a cool way"?" The powerful performance ends with Corden stroking Styles' cheek. You won't want to miss those. "Why am I always Julie Roberts?".

In true rock and roll fashion, the segment draws to a close with Styles' Kiwi, during which the pair head-bang and bash the auto roof.
