A number of press renders have leaked online showcasing the alleged successor to Microsoft's tablet, the so-called "Surface Pro".

Last year, it was highly anticipated that Microsoft will be releasing a new Surface Pro 5, but things did not materialize at an event that was held towards the end of the year.

Virtually nothing is known about the Surface Pro, but the images, published on VentureBeat, show that Microsoft has done very little to change the look of the latest addition to the Surface line-up.

The newest Surface Pro model will come with optional accessories like the keyboard and pen.

Microsoft is gearing up to host its next major hardware event during May 23 in Shanghai.

Indonesian court sentences two gay men to public caning
Worldwide human rights groups have condemned the ruling and said it was an abusive and humiliating experience for the men. According to Human Rights Watch , a total of 339 people were caned in Aceh in 2016 on charges of moral indecency.

Earlier in May, a tweet from Microsoft's Corporate VP of Devices Panos Panay amplified the excitement.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is expected to launch a new Surface device at the hardware event on May 23 in Shanghai, China. That makes sense if you're from the Apple School of thought (think MacBook Pro) and it's better than calling it the Pro 4S or Pro 4.5 or something.

In this post, we've rounded up everything you should know about the successor to Surface Pro 4 or Surface Pro. However, these won't be identical to the ones of the Surface Laptop. Rumors were claiming that this device will be unveiled on May 23rd.

Aside from the overall mold of the Microsoft Surface Pro together with the pen and keyboard, a USB-C port is still nowhere to be found. The color of the accessories will be similar to the color options the recently launched Surface Laptop arrived in. However, two weeks ago, Panay mentioned that the company would launch the fifth-gen Surface Pro only when it had something "meaningful" to add to the already existent technology. The changes come in the inside of the device.
