Golden State warriors head coach Steve Kerr will coach in Game 2.

Perhaps the only disappointment for the 2015 champions was Klay Thompson's shooting performance. That changed dramatically - and so did the margin of the Golden State lead - when the Warriors had a pair of 3-pointers apiece in 13-0 and 13-1 third-quarter flurries that buried the Cavaliers. After dropping the first two games at Golden State, Cleveland beat the Warriors at home, helping set up the Cavs' epic comeback.

James has 18 points, 10 assists and six rebounds already. "I wanted to string together a few good days". They are obviously trying to get to the ball as much as possible and I expect them to play even more physical on Sunday.

James has been attacking early and often, with dunks, layups and a strong three-point play after taking what essentially was a tackle attempt from JaVale McGee on a drive and scoring anyway. His teams have won at least one road game in 37 of the first 40, with the lone exceptions being the 2007 NBA Finals (against San Antonio), the 2008 Eastern Conference semifinals (against Boston) and the 2009 East finals (against Orlando).

Curry provided the coach more than a glimpse of his greatness from up close after Kerr had been watching games from the locker room while speaking to his players beforehand and at halftime.

Attles received the Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday night.

It may not be the easiest welcome-back game, but the Warriors finally have their leader back at the helm. Game 3 is Wednesday in Cleveland where the Cavs will look to regain the magic that helped them overcome deficits of 2-0 and 3-1 in last year's Finals.

White House Communications Director resigned before Trump's overseas trip
Axios reported that he offered to stay until end of the president's first overseas trip as USA leader. "I would just say Mr. Dubke is the founder of Crossroads Media, which brands itself "the premier Republican media services firm" on its website .

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue admits after the game that he's never seen a team as dominant as Golden State.

"When we get stops, we have to get out".

However, who knows if it's a smart strategy to just literally take a nap on the floor in the fourth quarter of a postseason game?

Not only are the Warriors the best defensive team in the National Basketball Association, they also make you pay for turning the ball over.

For the Cavs, LeBron James poured in 28 points, 15 boards, and eight assists, but it just wasn't enough to overcome Golden State.

In his absence, acting coach Mike Brown guided the team to 11 consecutive wins against the Trail Blazers, Jazz, Spurs and - in Game 1 here on Thursday - the Cleveland Cavaliers.
