Nubia M2 Play with Snapdragon 435 SoC, 3GB RAM, Android 7.0 launched

ZTE has added yet another smartphone to the Nubia M2 series dubbed the Nubia M2 Play.

In terms of specifications, the Nubia M2 Play boasts of a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) LCD display with 274ppi pixel density.

The battery capacity of Nubia M2 Play is 3000 mAh.

The Nubia M2 Play is similar to Nubia M2 Lite in looks with a metal body, curved glass, and a single camera setup at the back. Unfortunately, the pricing and availability of the smartphone have not yet been announced but the details should be disclosed in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the front has an 8-Megapixel camera with a f/2.4 aperture, not almost as impressive as the M2's 16-Megapixel.

The smartphone has the traditional microUSB interface along with input under earphones 3.5 mm, plus security here meets the fingerprint scanner - it was placed at the bottom edge of the front panel. The rear (main) camera comes in a 13-megapixel form, features a Sony CMOS lens, an f/2.2 aperture, and supports a number of features including Beauty mode, HDR 4.0 and anti-shake. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core (Cortex-A53) processor coupled with Adreno 505 image processor. Another 5-megapixel 84-degree wide-angle front camera with f/2.4 aperture is provided for more composition in selfies.

According to Nubia, the M2 marks the debut of dual rear cameras on their smartphones. Both the variants come the option to expand storage up to 256GB using a microSD card. Unfortunately, the information associated with the other connectivity options and the battery front is still unknown at the moment, but we promise that whenever any new information arrives regarding this, we will let you know.
