Golovkin and Alvarez are now on a promotional tour for their upcoming battle, and when asked by Luke Thomas on Sirius XM whether or not he expects to be "marked up" by the powerful Canelo, GGG wisely acknowledged that he will more than likely come out of this fight with some bruises he didn't have when he went into it.

The Mexican superstar was in London today alongside Kazakh KO artist Gennady Golovkin to promote their WBA, WBC and IBF middleweight title fight in Las Vegas on September 16. Unlike those that fork over $75 to watch his fight against Alvarez in HD, Golovkin thinks those that pay the probable $100 fee for watching Mayweather-McGregor will be disappointed. "Maybe I'll go and play hockey with my son".

"If there was one thing that I learned was that in this sport you have to have balls because if you don't have balls what's going to happen to Chavez is going to repeat itself".

"I don't really have a comment about that fight, but I will say this I think the fans will speak".

"You talk too much, you are a boxer, not a promoter", said Golovkin addressing Saunders. However, despite the dominance in most of his wins, no one is denying GGG is in for the toughest fight of his career against Alvarez.

"I didn't even recognise him", Alvarez told reporters yesterday. My fight with "Canelo", this is boxing.

All sunshine and smiles at 2017 Juneteenth parade and festival
Today numerous activities to celebrate continue in tradition. "So many whites have died for blacks to be free", she said. What exactly is Juneteenth and why do we celebrate it? It is also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day.

It pits two crowd-pleasing icons against each other to decide the world's best middleweight.

"Every day there's a show in Vegas and everybody understands the true boxing fight is September 16, not before", Golovkin said following a media conference in London.

Mexico's Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) and Kazakhstan's Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) don't consider Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s return to the ring against McGregor on August 26 to be "a real fight".

" I'm always training, I'm always keeping in shape and am always going something maybe 3 to 4 times a week. Sure why not. Obviously, it's in the back of my mind that fight and I'd love to erase that". This is a mega-fight that will attract fans from all around the World.

Oscar De La Hoya blasted White in a Wednesday ESPN appearance, calling the UFC boss "disrespectful" for scheduling the fight just three weeks prior to the long-awaited battle between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.

Saunders wants to fight the victor, but Golovkin is unimpressed after talks to face the Briton have previously stalled.
