Free Agent Derrick Rose Meeting With Cavaliers

The Cavaliers, of course, are not limited to Irving's wish list. That's not exactly earth-shattering information. However, they have still not received a good deal. That said, Irving has little leverage to force himself from being traded there. Opinions vary on what the Cavs could realistically get for Irving or if they should even trade him at all.

Additionally, in the days after Griffin's departure, the Cavs began aggressively looking at trades to land either Jimmy Butler or Paul George.

Cleveland wants a "blue-chip" young player, according to Lowe, who considers a trade centered on Dragic and Justise Winslow. That is not necessarily a signal they think James is leaving. "But I know that's what Kyrie Irving believes".

The price would be steep. Miami can't trade a first-round pick until 2023. He had to do a lot for San Antonio last season, and it did cause his defense to take a dip (though not almost as significant as many advanced metrics indicated).

ESPN's Brian Windhorst recently reported that Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland and out from under the shadow of LeBron James.

USTR Releases NAFTA Negotiation Objectives
The document is the first step in revisiting NAFTA, allowing formal talks with Canada and Mexico to open in as little as 30 days. What Uden and the NCBA do not want is for Trump to heed calls from other agricultural players to make sweeping changes to NAFTA.

Ultimately, if the Cavs were to ask for a package including Murray and Harris from the Nuggets, it would be too much.

If he were to sign with Cleveland, Rose's role would (hopefully) be to backup Kyrie Irving. "He wanted to be the centrepiece of a team, as he thought he was going to be three years ago, when he signed a five-year extension 11 days before James chose to come home". It is fully expected that LeBron will decline that option and hit the free agent market next offseason (LA Lakers, anyone?). However, Irving's future with the organization is up in the air.

Irving is one of the best point guards in the National Basketball Association, and deserves a king's ransom. At that point, a trade is fully worth discussing. Oops, that's not what Rockets fans, nor players wanted to hear.

You see how this is shaping up for the Rockets to be the "Super Team" we only see in video games? While Denver may have a chance to make something work if the Cavs simply don't receive the offers they want going forward, they're certainly intent on more than the Nuggets should sacrifice right now.
