FIREFIGHTERS in the U.S. rushed to rescue a woman who called 911 in terror and shrieked help "I have a boa constrictor stuck to my face!"

The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports the unnamed 45-year-old Sheffield Lake woman called 911 Thursday afternoon asking for help.

The dispatcher said, "I've never heard of this before". She told the 911 operator that there was blood everywhere.

That woman on East Lake Road refused to talk about her experience Friday, but gave 911 an earful.

She'd rescued the snake the day before. The boa constrictor that had been wrapped around her neck was killed when a firefighter was able to cut off the head of the snake with a pocket knife.

The snake was disposed of and the woman was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The woman declined an on camera interview.

"I would imagine the bite was very painful so she's gonna have to put up with that while [SIC] too. You're outside with a boa constrictor stuck to your face?" And now she's gonna have to make a decision on whether she continues to do this. At another point, she says, "I don't even know what".
