Lawsuit Claims Usher Didn't Tell People He Had Herpes Before Sex

Speaking at the press briefing with her lawyer Lisa Bloom, Sharpton said she celebrated her birthday by attending one of his concerts with her friends when she was spotted.

But once the documents were made public last month, a woman who said she slept with Usher in April filed a $20million lawsuit against him for giving her the disease. "And everyone, even ordinary people who find themselves swept away by a superstar, has the legal right to be respected, which includes being warned about STDs so that they can make their own choices about their own bodies", Bloom said.

The suit, which Bloom says will be filed in California, alleges Usher, 38, contracted genital herpes before his encounters with her clients, all of which Bloom says happened after 2012.

Two women and a man are now joining forces with celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom, who will officially file the lawsuit on August 7 in California, reports the Daily Mail. "Raymond's failure to rebut the numerous reports that he has Herpes has reasonably induced the Plaintiffs to believe that Raymond has the virus and that he exposed them to it".

"No one in America, not even a popular celebrity, is above the law", Bloom said.

They, too, claim that the singer exposed them to herpes without their knowledge, but are identified as "Jane Doe" and "John Doe".

She claims that the pair "engaged in sexual contact" after she celebrated her 19th birthday at an Usher concert.

Police have spent days rifling through properties in Lakemba, Wiley Park, Punchbowl and Surry Hills in the search for evidence. Investigators allege the plot involved an improvised explosive device.

The third victim who contracted from Usher due to unprotected sex is a man. Bloom mentioned in a statement that the identities of the other two victims will be kept secret.

In 2012, Usher settled a case with another woman who claimed he had infected her. "He told me Usher had seen me backstage and was interested in me", the young woman said at a press conference in NYC today.

The news outlet also noted that the court documents stated the adverse effects of Usher's alleged herpes infection to the complainants.

And despite our best efforts, we have not heard Usher's side of the story; we are, therefore, unable to say whether or not the claims published by Radar Online and TMZ are true. "Although I am negative, I am upset by the reports because I never would have consented, if I would have known".

They can't call him either because he always called them from a blocked number, she says.

The 8-time Grammy victor has not publicly addressed the allegations.
