But the 3.5 mile journey from Kensington Palace to the school will likely take well over 40 minutes each way in busy rush-hour traffic that is particularly notorious through Chelsea, Kensington and over Battersea Bridge at school drop off and pick up times. The condition forced Kate to be admitted to hospital in the early months of her first pregnancy with George.

In a statement released on Monday morning United Kingdom time, the palace said the Duchess was experiencing severe morning sickness and will be missing out on her latest engagement as a result.
