New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham (13).

Beckham said he did "some running and cutting" during Wednesday's practice and he is improving daily. He has not practiced all week due to a left ankle injury that he suffered in a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns a few weeks ago.

For the second consecutive day, Beckham warmed up and then went off to another field, working with a trainer. It will all depend on whether or not he is medically cleared to play.

Beckham, who had 101 catches and 10 touchdowns last season, refused to count himself out of the nationally televised game, saying his heart is telling him to play. If he does not practice, then chances are Beckham will miss the game. It's just a matter of how fast you can get back.

The players also looked a little confused as this has never happened during an worldwide cricket match before. Dilshan Munaweera smashed his maiden half-century while debutant Ashan Priyanjan also played a useful hand.

The Giants could have the edge in the passing game on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, who will trot out a young defensive backfield in the NFC East opener on September 10, which is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET.

"I've been throwing with Eli since I was a sophomore in high school", Beckham said. Nothing is going to change. Nobody ever wants to have that taken away from them, especially with the amount of work we have been putting in, the chemistry. The chemistry and everything, we were just rolling. I'm really trying to get better. "He is one of the best in the game, that's what we are going to do". "You get setbacks and it's how you come back from that and handle adversity".

Beckham teamed up with haircare brand Head & Shoulders to take some pressure off of his fans' shoulders - and in doing so, he gave them some of the most exciting experiences of their lives.
