Whatsapp has updated its app with a major feature (PiP or picture-in-picture mode), these crucial and major features introduced in Android Oreo.

The messaging app is continuously coming up with new capabilities and improvements in its existing features. In July this year, the Facebook-owned messaging app rolled out a testing version of picture-in-picture feature for video calling on Android O. Now, the WhatsApp has rolled out the support for picture-in-picture mode to its users across the globe. This means both Android and iOS users will now be able to minimize video calling window and move it around while browsing through other messages in the background. Now the text status updates feature. It is a fun feature, but most users still prefer the traditional text-only. So, how does this feature work? You can also add emojis, change font style, and change the background color to design your text status. On clicking the icon, WhatsApp will ask the user to enter text. It will disappear after 24 hours; friends will be able to comment on the status which will come as a personal message to the user. One of the most talked about things has been the "WhatsApp for Business" feature which will let companies have verified accounts to chat with their customers. "We're looking forward to making it possible for people to connect with businesses in a fast and personal way, and giving businesses the tools to make that easier to do", WhatsApp Chief Operating Officer Matt Idema said.
