The Browns could not reach the end zone on their first drive of the second half, but a 24-yard field goal from rookie kicker Zane Gonzalez trimmed the Steelers' lead down to four points, 14-10, with 9:27 to play in the third quarter.

Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer, making his National Football League debut, scored on a 1-yard TD run later in the first quarter, tying the game at 7-7. Of course, that could come down to rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer.

Roethlisberger connected with James for his second touchdown of the game, a two-yard reception to give the Steelers a 21-10 lead.
