Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says getting Ronaldo back is a relief

The potential of Asensio is likely to lead to Real cashing in on Gareth Bale at some point but it is thought Zinedine Zidane wanted another season of development under the youngster's belt before allowing the Welsh star to leave.

The 21-year-old Spain worldwide has been lauded for his performances, and Zidane has clearly been impressed.

Spain worldwide Marco Asensio is considered to be one of the brightest stars in European football, and was linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in the past month.

He also scored after coming off the bench in his side's 4-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League final last season, and has since gone on to establish himself as a mainstay among Real Madrid's multitude of star names to begin the 2017/18 campaign.
