"I feel opportunity, I feel the chance to do something really good".

Klopp plans to use Wales global Ward as his goalkeeper in the competition, although jokingly made reference to being regularly questioned about his controversial policy to rotate Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.

Former England striker Alan Shearer has said Liverpool have made no significant headway under Juergen Klopp since the German replaced Brendan Rodgers as the Merseyside club's manager in 2015.

Liverpool were beaten 5-0 at Manchester City in the league after the Arsenal game, and conceded a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at home with Sevilla in the Champions League in midweek, before Saturday's disappointing draw against Burnley.

The Liverpool boss also confirmed some of the players that will appear for Liverpool against Leicester: Goalkeeper Danny Ward, Marko Grujic and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"I would love to but I'm not sure the world is ready for such a insane decision", said Klopp.

Liverpool struggled over the past week and now have two away games at Leicester to turn things round.

And despite failing to win, Klopp noted that there were positives - and was pleased that his side were in the right positions to create opportunities.

"A third goalkeeper in one season!"

"Of course, Danny Ward will play [on Tuesday] if nothing happens overnight". We are obviously together with him and the analysts to show him how we want to play him in this position and in that position. He had an impact when he came on, now you have three of the line up!

"We have to take the criticism and the blame".

"But already at the weekend [against Burnley], he came on in a hard situation and he did really well". However, Dejan Lovren, who missed the stalemate with Burnley with a back injury, is likely to miss out.

And, that Jon Flanagan will be part of the squad for Liverpool at Leicester.
