September 20, 2017, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is reportedly set to launch the next generation Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet with vastly improved specifications and a significantly lowered price-tag. Also, Amazon already had been working to integrate the Alexa virtual assistant into the Fire TV platform, announcing in July that Alexa could be used to control Fire TV features.

The more premium aluminium shell is gone, though, swapped for plastic. With this new device, Amazon, for the first time, introduced Alexa hands-free on a Fire tablet, which allows users activate the assistant with their voices alone.

Pelosi shouted out of press conference by Dreamers
But on Monday, Pelosi came face-to-face with people who say they would be directly affected by any change in policy. "All of us or none of us", they said later.

The company debuted a new version of its Fire HD 10 tablet on Tuesday that has a high-definition screen for watching video, up to 64 GB of storage, a lower price and a processor that runs 30 percent faster, Amazon said.

The Fire 10 is getting a complete overhaul on October 11th, with a quad-core processor, a battery that now lasts 10 hours, doubled storage with 32GB now standard, and a 1080p display. If you have an Amazon Prime account and make most of your digital purchases through Amazon, this is no bad thing. If you want to turn down the lights or check the weather, you don't have to tap the screen or wander within earshot of an Echo. You can use Alexa for any objective you might typically use the personal assistant on an Amazon Echo, including controlling your house or checking the weather. Little has changed, although there is a new addition to the Fire OS' UI called "For You", which provides recommendations for similar items you've purchased. Amazon did not say whether hands-free Alexa will make its way to other Fire tablets, but the Fire HD 10 will get it once it becomes available. Because you're confined to Amazon's Fire OS and generally steered towards buying Amazon products, the features are insanely limited. Sure, the Amazon App Store features essential apps like Spotify and Facebook, but without access to the full Google Play Store, many simply aren't available (technically minded people can side-load any missing Android apps, however). If all you want to do is watch videos, flick through Facebook and do a spot of online shopping, the Fire HD 10 is ideal. It also claims that the tablet is more durable than the 10.5 inch iPad Pro, as measured in tumble tests.
