She has also shown her willingness to get down to work on multiple occasions, most recently in an event with children of Washington's Boys and Girls Club. "I would certainly not read anything into that picture anymore than probably, just like the rest of us, we're exhausted trying to keep up with this president who's working hard every day trying to help America", she said.

They each left with a small bottle of White House honey - yes, the executive beehive is still in operation.

Melania Trump's communications director slammed the coverage of her shoes at the time, saying, "It's sad that we have an active and ongoing natural disaster in Texas, and people are anxious about her shoes".
