See Chicago Cubs Shortstop Destroy a Cardinals Fan's Nachos

After diving into the stands chasing a foul ball down the third-base line and spilling a man's tray of chips, Russell emerged from the dugout a few innings later with a plate of nachos and delivered it to the fan.

The Cubs' Addison Russell might just have made a friend out of a Cardinals fan.

Andrew Gudermuth, the fan, was likely crushed when he saw his snack get kicked onto the field, but the Cubs shortstop would pay the Cardinals fan back. Russell did the fan a solid, though, bringing him a new tray of nachos and posed for a selfie.

Junis pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed six runs, all earned, on seven hits. Chicago is 11-2 in its last 13 games and 19-8 in its last 27. Chicago is on the verge of eliminating the Cardinals from NL Central contention with just a couple games to go. St. Louis lost the final two contests of its three-game series at Pittsburgh over the weekend, while the Cubs took three of four from Milwaukee and have won 10 of their last 12. Javier Baez also added a three-run homer, his 23rd of the year. That lead became 4-0 after Russell was doubled home by Jason Heyward. Secondly, they saw Jon Lester get back on track as they'll need him to be that pitcher as the playoffs approach.

Collins' opposition to Graham-Cassidy likely renders bill impassible
McCain is one of three Republican senators who publicly said they are voting "against the "Graham-Cassidy" healthcare bill". Susan Collins , a Republican from ME , finally came out against the bill , a position she'd been teetering toward for days.

And two of those things are baseball and nachos.

Baez hit his first homer since September 13 with two outs, driving in Zobrist and Heyward in the third, giving Chicago an 8-1 advantage. It probably helped that his team went on to win the game at the Busch Stadium in St Louis. The fan was also later seen taking selfies with other fans.

Carlos Martinez will be on the hill for the Cardinals, trying to improve on his 12-11 record and 3.63 ERA in 31 starts this season. Arrieta is 8-3 with a 2.06 ERA and 103 strikeouts in his career against the Cardinals.
