The Los Angeles Chargers come into Sunday already sitting at 0-3 and while they aren't officially eliminated from the playoff chase, most experts and fans will tell you that the season is already over. It's the soccer home of the L.A. Galaxy, which had that other superstar named Beckham (4:05 p.m., Channel 29, WIP 94.1-FM). The Eagles racked up 511 total yards while the Chargers put up 539. However, the Cowboys are hosting the 2-1 Los Angeles Rams, and Washington is on the road against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. And surely Reich used his intimate knowledge of the Chargers' offense and Rivers to help in the team's preparation this week. The then San Diego Chargers won 31-23 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on November 15, 2009 and 33-30 at Lincoln Financial Field on September 15, 2013.

This would seemingly be favorable for the Eagles, a top-10 rushing team which last week ran for 193 yards against the Giants. But don't let that fact fool you. The only cure for them to be able to have a chance of not only surviving, but flourishing in Los Angeles is to win games. The Eagles do, indeed, have a depleted secondary and that likely means Rivers will test them with at least a few deep passes and those are the ones that have been ripe for the picking.

LeGarette Blount has yet to break out to his 2016 form in a green Eagles uniform this season.

Eli Manning threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns last week at the Linc.

Here's where the problem lies for Philadelphia.

Nintendo Restricts Livestreaming of Their Games on YouTube for Partners

The Chargers listed Gordon (knee), Barksdale (foot), linebacker Hayes Pullard (knee) and tight end Sean McGrath (foot) questionable.

The Chargers struck first in the fourth on a field goal, but the Eagles took their first lead of the game with just 7:06 remaining.

In his third season, Gordon is averaging 3.3 yards per carry and has scored two touchdowns.

Hard to blame quarterback Philip Rivers for the Chargers' 0-3 start but that was his right arm throwing three interceptions and completing just 50 percent of his passes in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. No rookie had ever made one from that deep, and the kick was so improbable that Wentz told teammates he'd give Elliott his game check if he made it. Elliott refused the cash, but a portion will go to charity and a cool story gets a happy ending. Pretty soon, ex-Chargers fans will no longer feel the need to keep tuning in, making ratings nearly non-existent. Interestingly, Rivers ranks 28th against the blitz this year, but that's an outlier. The defensive line has to forget about last week's performance against NY and bounce back against Los Angeles. According to Reich, the Eagles are preparing to face off against one of the NFL's most-proven veteran signal-callers.

The Los Angeles Chargers host the Philadelphia Eagles for a Week 4 matchup between the NFC East and the AFC West. It's to the point where first-year head coach Anthony Lynn is already fed up with what he's seen. The following week, the Dolphins came to town and Rivers' team ended up on the losing side again.
