Marilou Danley, the 62-year-old girlfriend of Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Danley, is now talking to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Los Angeles.

Sheriff Lombardo said he is "absolutely" confident investigators will establish why the big-spending gambler carried out the attack - the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. It was not immediately clear where she was being taken.

Police have also given new detail about the timeline of the Paddock's shooting massacre. "'It happened a lot, ' Esperanza Mendoza, supervisor of the Starbucks, said Tuesday". Police recovered 19 guns, as well as explosive material and large quantities of ammunition, from the home Paddock and Danley shared.

During the rampage, a hotel security guard who approached the room was shot through the door and wounded in the leg.

"The fact that he had the type of weaponry and amount of weaponry in that room, it was pre-planned extensively, and I'm pretty sure he evaluated everything that he did and his actions, which is troublesome".

On Danley's Facebook page, she describes herself as a "proud mom and grandma who lives life to the fullest".

Asked whether a "mental issue" or some other incident in a year ago may have compelled him to start his stockpile of weapons, Mr Lombardo said "yes, we are looking into that".

Lombardo said the attack was the obvious outcome of meticulous planning.

The father of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was previously on the FBI's Most Wanted list, law enforcement officials confirmed to CNN on Monday.

But just because the gunfire sounded automatic doesn't necessarily mean that Paddock used automatic weapons.

The bump stock modifications have attracted scrutiny from authorities and lawmakers in recent years.

Eric says that nothing in those interactions suggested that Stephen was about to become the man responsible fro the most deadly mass shooting in modern American history.

On Wednesday, Ms Danley's two sisters, who chose to remain anonymous, said they believe she was "sent away" so she could not interfere with Paddock's plan.

Police added they had no information about Paddock's motive, that he had no criminal record and was not believed to be connected to any militant group.
