On Saturday, a attractive day to spend time with your loved ones, Donnie Ernsberger scored a touchdown in overtime on behalf of his Western Michigan squad.

Donnie Ernsberger scores OT TD, and his sister (so says her jersey) runs on the field before the game is over. The Bulls responded, and then scored again in the fifth overtime.

Both teams scored touchdowns in the second overtime period. Drew Anderson threw for 597 yards, a Buffalo record, with seven touchdown passes and a touchdown run. He also had three carries for 13 yards and a touchdown. The senior tight end had four catches for 52 yards and 2 TDs in the Broncos wild 71-68 seven overtime victory over Buffalo.

Finally, with the Broncos needing a field goal to tie, with fans watching the game expecting as much and hoping the game continued deep into the night, Franklin found a hole in the middle of UB's defense and stretched across the goal line, leaving the Bulls in tears as they attempted to digest the outcome. Seconds later, his sister joined the team on the sideline to celebrate - even though the game hadn't ended.

In the first overtime, Buffalo got the ball first and needed seven plays - and a penalty against Western Michigan on a 4th-and-9 field goal attempt - to go up 38-31.

Here's the real score: Someday, they'll look back knowing they participated in one of the most entertaining games in the history of college football. I assume she thought the game was over.
