Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had an MRI on his left shoulder this week and was diagnosed with an AC Joint sprain, according to NBC Sports Boston's Mike Giardi.

In last Thursday's 19-14 win on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady completed 30 of 40 passes for 303 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Coach Bill Belichick was predictably tight-lipped when asked about Brady at his press conference, but was willing to concede a couple of things about his quarterback.

Brady said he'll be able to play through the pain and isn't concerned about heading into Sunday's game with the 3-2 Jets. "I'll be there Sunday".

"I think everybody does", he said.

The good news for the Patriots is that Brady's injury is not serious and is to his non-throwing shoulder.

Star-studded Argentina staring into the abyss ahead of crunch Ecuador showdown
Argentina have only won once in Quito since 2001, but surely it is a matter of time before their galaxy of stars click. They suffered a 6-1 loss there in the 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign and were beaten 2-0 there earlier this year.

Through the first five games of the season, Brady has been hit repeatedly.

Brady has taken 33 quarterback hits and 16 sack this season.

According to National Football League stats, Brady has been sacked 16 times so far this season and hit 33 times.

Aside from when Brady missed almost the entire 2008 season due to an ACL and MCL tear in Week 1 against the Chiefs, he has been remarkably durable.
