It's finally going to feel like fall starting on Monday

A strong cold front is making its way toward the state on Sunday and will bring cooler and drier air to Alabama starting on Monday.

Canadian high pressure will move into the area tonight and help clear the sky and quickly drop temperatures into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Lows overnight will be in the low to mid-50s.

Wednesday is on track to be warmer and sunny with a high near 68 and a low around 46.

Blacksburg had decent weather last week with temperatures in the upper 70s and some precipitation occurring. Our next chance of showers and storms comes on Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a low dropping to about 39.
