Google says it redesigned the alerts to make it easier to see what software will be removed.

Meanwhile, the Chrome Cleanup Tool has been upgraded with better unwanted software detection and removal.

Google Chrome is one of the most popular web browsers and already has various tools to help people avoid unwanted software. This collaboration means that they can now detect and remove more unwanted software than ever before, allowing a safer and speedier experience for Chrome users. Now, when Chrome detects that user settings have been changed without your consent, it will offer to restore the modified settings. But some extensions may change your settings without you even realizing it. A pop-up window will appear when Chrome Cleanup detects any harmful software and provides users the option to remove it from their Windows PC. So Google made a decision to go a step further and teamed up with a cybersecurity company to add anti-malware features directly into Chrome for Windows.

How does Chrome detect something wrong? "Chrome Cleanup addresses unwanted software that can negatively influence a users' experience on the internet". Chromes sandbox technology to separate untrusted programs merged with ESET detection engine.

Iran nuclear deal: Tehran threatens to 'shred' agreement if USA withdraws support
Tehran has defended the move, saying the weapons are exclusively for defensive purposes. Iran says the missiles it has tested are not created to carry nuclear warheads.

The more powerful aspect of this new Chrome Cleanup comes through a collaboration with cybersecurity company ESET.

Chrome 62 for Android and iOS should be following in the next few days and if developers are back on track after Google's hardware launch, Chrome OS 62 should arrive in the last days of the month. At first glance, there are numerous references to the Google Assistant and its native functions that will soon grace Chromebooks and likely the Chrome browser in general.

"Speed of the scan and minimal performance impact is crucial hence only the most necessary parts of the scanning engine are included, resulting in a pretty tiny product". Note this new sandboxed engine is not a general-purpose antivirus - it only removes software that doesn't comply with our unwanted software policy.
