Switch Update Adds Video Capture

The new software update for the Nintendo Switch brings along a much sought after feature - video capture.

One of the biggest complaints about the Nintendo Switch during launch was that you couldn't transfer your saved data.

The fact you'll need to have recent versions of these games suggests software has to have video capture manually enabled. Those with USB-C adapters have shared evidence that they're able to use their headsets with success too, after plugging the adapter into an undocked Switch's USB-C connector.

There's also a neat little feature that allows you to update your game to the same version as someone nearby, with the Match Version With Local Users option.

And if Nintendo keeps adding more features like this in the future, I won't complain. That gives Nintendo the opportunity to possibly be the first!

Your Switch should automatically install this system update.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the holder of the government's secrets broke the news Lulu had been dropped from the program. Puppies in the program, like human students in the classrooms, can have good and bad days when learning something new.

Arguably the most notable addition is one that comes oh-so-close to fixing a major Switch problem: the inability to back up any save game data.

If you've been looking to move your saved data to a different Switch console, you can finally do it. 30 seconds of your previous gameplay will be stored in your album.

Other consoles (and, of course, PCs) can stream games in their entirety. The Wii U port of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was at the 11th spot, followed closely by Switch launch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at number 10.

Super Mario Odyssey is now being hyped up, as the open-world adventure is set to launch on october 27. Just head to settings on the bottom icon bar, scroll down to "system" and click on "system update" in the top right.

In Nintendo's official page for the Nintendo Switch system update, the company revealed that version 4.0.0 also adds new profile icons from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey.
