Liverpool not in race with Manchester City: Klopp

They are still just five points off Manchester City, but with games against Liverpool and Manchester United coming up, the Spurs boss is keeping his focus on his side's performances.

Klopp made it clear he thinks the club need to think about three points and the game - and not the stadium - in order to beat Spurs, and offered some tactical insight into the game as well.

"We can make steps, from a very good season last year, we can make steps this year". So far we did well but that's all, nothing else.

"If we can bring in consistency and be more ruthless, be more clinical in situations because of confidence and all that stuff, then we can win games".

Liverpool and Spurs both want to be in the top four come the end of the season, and there or there abouts in terms of the title race, and winning - or at the very least not losing six pointers against their title rivals will be a huge way towards doing that. We have a challenge when we go there, they know it will not be an easy game so let's play and see what happens. Liverpool have one of the best away supports in football and a host of fans who live in the London area.
