Who Is Kenneth White? Michigan Dad Dies From Rock Thrown Through Windshield

Kenny White, 32, of Mount Morris, was killed Wednesday night when the rock broke through the windshield of his friend's auto on I-75 in Genesee County's Vienna Township, about 80 miles north of Detroit.

White was taken to Hurley Medical Center and pronounced dead, according to police.

'These kids ... Couldn't they just go skip rocks on the river or something instead of doing something so senseless.

Authorities didn't say how many people were in custody, only saying "several teens".

Genesee County Sheriff's Office received a call about the incident around 8:30 p.m.

According to MLive, there were four other vehicles that reported hitting other large rocks on the highway.

WXYZ in Detroit reports law enforcement sources said the teens from the area were in custody and that they threw the rocks onto I-75 as a prank, the report said. It's no laughing matter. A GoFundMe has been set up to raise money for funeral expenses.

As of Friday evening, EST, $13.7K of a $19,000 goal had been donated.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest.

The vehicle was traveling southbound on I-75.
