Matt Damon and George Clooney recall their experiences working with Harvey Weinstein and why their reaction the allegations brought against him. The two are now on a press tour for their new movie Suburbicon, and sat down with Michael Strahan on on Good Morning America this morning to talk about what they knew.

"My wife is a very smart, very together, very accomplished human rights lawyer, and she said 'there have been plenty of times in my life, in the law community I had to tell someone to knock it off.' So it happens everywhere", Clooney told "Extra" in a recent interview. "I mean, he was proud of that".

"You had to spend about five minutes with him to know that he was a bully".

Damon demanded he had not known about the "level of criminal sexual predation".

The actor said Ben Affleck informed him about Paltrow, who recently came forward to accuse Weinstein of making an unwanted sexual advance toward her early in her career. "I never talked to Gwyneth about it, Ben told me".

"She was, you know, the first lady of Miramax", he continued. "But I knew that [Weinstein and Paltrow] had come to whatever agreement or understanding they had come to".

Clooney added how Weinstein in the past had told him about affairs he was having with women in Hollywood, but that he never believed him.

"But the idea that this predator, this assaulter. was out there silencing women like that.it's beyond infuriating".

Since The New York Times published an explosive article on the disgraced movie mogul which contained allegations of sexual harassment and abuse over three decades, more victims of sexual harassment have been encouraged to share their stories. However, more women continue to speak up by the day it seems and many of their accounts reveal certain patterns in his behavior.

He added, "I want to know who took women up to a hotel room and then left them there for Harvey".

As the story unfolds now, Clooney said, he insisted that he wants to know "all of it".

"The fact that one of the most powerful people I've ever seen in Hollywood has been banished basically is a shot across the bow to any man in this industry who would leverage and use their power to mistreat women", said Damon.

Damon just appeared on "Good Morning America" and clarified how much he knew about his "Good Will Hunting" producer's sexual misconduct.

Damon and Affleck have both come under fire for their close ties to Weinstein in the fallout of the scandal.
