The wait has been long, but recent reports have stated that the beta should arrive in a couple of days. This means that despite the phone model being one of the newest to come out from Samsung, the Galaxy A series will not be running on the latest Android operating system, which is Oreo.

The Galaxy S8 and the S8+ would be the first smartphones to get Samsung Oreo update. This latest patch is the October security update, which Samsung is pushing to all its devices and looks like the Korena giant doesn't want to stay behind even on the carrier side of things. There are launcher shortcuts, colored media notifications, and more. It revealed the images and text for "Android 8.0 Oreo" for the Galaxy S8. Without further ado, here's how you can join.

Looking at the accounts given by different Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users, it's easy to deduce that the Contacts app has something to do with the freezing issue.

└ If you're unable to download the app from Play Store, download the Samsung+ apk file and sideload it on your S8. It's good practice to keep a backup before installing the Beta OTA.

'SA recommended for 2023 rugby world cup'
But SA Rugby president Mark Alexander said on Tuesday that the support of the government was "critical" for the rugby bid. The IRFU will be waiting anxiously for the 11am announcement‚ which is a crucial step towards winning the World Cup bid.

You will need a Samsung Account to sign up, and if you meet all the requirements for the program, you will soon be selected.

As of now, the beta will be only available on T-Mobile, Sprint, and unlocked version of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Samsung is also committed to providing the Note 8 Enterprise Edition with monthly security updates for three whole years, which should lessen some of the worry about company devices getting ruined by exploits and malicious software. Meanwhile you can also check it manually through settings about phone software updates. Beta software can be very beta sometimes. We would recommend only those who don't mind a few bugs here and there, to try the Oreo beta update.
