Tonight Show to Air Reruns This Week After Jimmy Fallon's Mother Dies

Jimmy Fallon's mother, former Upstate New York resident Gloria Fallon, is dead at age 68. Her loved ones, including The Tonight Show host, were by her side at the NYU Langone Medical Centre in NY.

"Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time", a spokesperson for the NBC late-night show said. Her hospitalization following what's been reported as a brief illness caused NBC to cancel the November 3 Tonight taping, with a rerun airing instead.

"On behalf of everyone at NBC, we extend our deepest condolences to Jimmy and all his family at this time of enormous loss", NBC said in a statement.

Jimmy Fallon's mother, Gloria, passed away Saturday, ABC News has confirmed.
