"Better Man", recorded by Little Big Town, has been named Song of the Year at the 2017 CMA Awards, held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (Nov. 8).

Little Big Town had nothing but kind words for Swift, who actually sent them "Better Man" as a "no pressure" listener to them via e-mail, as the band's Karen Fairchild explained to Billboard.

Although Taylor Swift is not a country singer any longer, she still won an award at the 2017 CMA Awards, nabbing another trophy for her massive collection. "We're really grateful that Phillip checked his email one night and that song was in the email 'cause he doesn't always check his email". "She couldn't be with us tonight".

Elliott's appeal denied, suspension begins again immediately
Still, here was are in November and Elliott has yet to miss a single game through the first nine weeks of the regular season. It wasn't immediately clear how soon the court would rule on Elliott's claim that he was treated unfairly by the NFL .

She did stop by and remember her country music roots last year to present Entertainer of the Year to Garth Brooks during the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards. She heard right, though, and shouldn't be too surprised given the number of CMA awards she already holds. If that doesn't showcase the artist Swift is, we don't know what will. She might be in Los Angeles or NY or who knows where preparing for something epic. or hiding from rabid fans.

Swift has a new pop album, "Reputation", that drops Friday.
