Google Pixel 2: Burn-In Display Is Not LG's Fault!

Google lists many features sported by its larger Pixel 2 XL, from the slimmer bezels to the OLED display to the oleophobic "oil" coating, which is meant to stop fingerprints and smudges appearing on the device. Both the Google Assistant and Bluetooth headphones function properly independently of each other, so it's unlikely that it can't be fixed with an over-the-air update.

Even worse, the issue appears to be all across the board - affecting headphones from Beats, LG, Anker, and more.

Pixel 2 users get to sample a whole host of Android features that are unique to Google's second generation flagships. This issue doesn't happen all the time in a particular unit but if your phone is one of the "unlucky ones", then you don't know when the screen will next flash on the Pixel 2 XL. Additionally, some Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users are reporting problems with their handsets' microphone. I was able to replicate the issue by blowing into the bottom speaker. Yes. As mentioned above, the latest issue concerns the Google Pixel 2 XL flashing screen that flooded Google's support forums. However, the fix is not a permanent one and users might have to replace their devices. Blowing into the speaker like you would an old NES cartridge.

TripAdvisor Adds Warnings For Hotels with Reports of Sexual Assault
TripAdvisor replaced the comments with a generic explanation that the posts were "inappropriate" and "off-topic". Love alleged that a hotel security guard dragged her into the bushes and sexually assaulted her.

There seems to be no end to the long list of issues related to the new Pixel 2 devices.

What do you think of the Pixel 2's problems? Doing this made my microphone work again and it continues to work when it goes out. Google is yet to acknowledge the issue but we can expect some sort of software patch to fix the issue. Users reported noticing random flashes on the screen while trying to lock or unlock their devices but claimed it doesn't occur all the time. The software update specifically addressed various screen issues such as a more saturated colour option and a protection against screen burn-in.
