DETROIT, MI - NOVEMBER 12: Quarterback DeShone Kizer #7 of the Cleveland Browns signals a touchdown as Isaiah Crowell #34 of the Cleveland Browns runs for a third quarter touchdown against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on November 12, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

According to the CBS broadcast, the rookie had his ribs injured. Before the injury, Kizer completed 15 of 24 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown.

Cody Kessler is playing for the Browns at quarterback during the fourth quarter. The Browns have not won a game all season and if the Lions were to lose, it would be devastating to their playoff chances. Receiver Kenny Britt caught a short pass, slipped past Lawson and scored on the 19-yard play. He finished 21-of-37 for 232 yards with one touchdown and one interception as the Browns tried a last-gasp comeback.

The Lions then knotted the score at 10-all when Ameer Abdullah bulled up the middle from 9 yards out with 10:25 remaining until intermission.

Detroit closed to within 10-3 with exactly 6:00 left in the initial period on Matt Prater's 46-yard field goal.

Emmanuel Ogbah had four sacks, and Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert each added a sack.

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale suffers injury setback
The new injury will increase speculation that he could be sold by Real Madrid , who could use his fee to reinvest in new recruits. GARETH BALE IS facing up to a month on the sidelines after Real Madrid confirmed another injury setback for the Wales global .

The Lions pulled away in the end - and they've been a good closing team - but against better teams they can't look like they did in the first half against the Browns.

Myles Garrett continues to make things happen when he is on the field.

For the second straight game, the Browns got off to a hot start, and it had a little bit to do with both sides of the ball.

Following the injury, the wheels failed off the defense even more.

Many questioned the Lions' selection of Eric Ebron as a captain for this game, but he played well, catching 2-of-3 targets for 39 yards.
