The first clip for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is here

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the raptor looked remarkably similar to Grady's right-hand-raptor from "Jurassic World", Blue but it's unclear if the tease clip is a flashback or if it's Blue Jr. For all those who have the guts to sit through another fearful journey, there's some good news. The secretive sequel to 2015's Jurassic World finished filming over the summer, but good luck finding any details beyond a handful of returning actors and a bigger handful of newbies, most of whom will probably get eaten by dinosaurs before the credits roll. "From our Jurassic family to yours", Director Bayona captioned his tweet. The full trailer should come next month in front of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It also appears to have similar markings to Blue, one of the velociraptors trained by Pratt's character Owen Grady. As an early Thanksgiving treat it seems, Colin Trevorrow has gone ahead and unveiled the first public footage from the film online, in the form of a short clip.

Bryce Dallas Howard is also returning to the film, reprising her role as Claire Dearing.

"Obviously you don't have real dinosaurs - sometimes you have people playing dinosaurs - but we love animatronics and we're trying to do as much with them as possible", he said of the sequel.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to open on June 22, 2018.

Little is still known about the next film in the Jurassic franchise, although there's been rumors that Fallen Kingdom will feature a brand-new dinosaur called the IndoRaptor, thanks to the fact that Universal reportedly filed licensing rights to acquire the term.
