James and Dwyane Wade led the charge Monday on questioning the Grizzlies' firing of head coach David Fizdale, a popular assistant coach who won two National Basketball Association championships with James, Wade and the Heat in 2012 and 2013.

Fizdale was sacked after a 7-12 start to the 2017-18 National Basketball Association season, but previous year he led the Grizzlies to a 43-39 record during the regular season which was good enough to get the Grizzlies into the Western Conference playoffs.

Despite the drama, the elder Gasol said he hopes things work out for the Grizzlies, who will reportedly allow assistant J.B. Bickerstaff to coach the team on an interim basis to finish the season.

Christmas at the White House - in numbers
Next, the China Room "is set up for a family Christmas dinner, with the table displaying the china from President Ronald Reagan". Children visiting the White House this year repeatedly told Melania, wearing a white dress, that she looked like an angel .

"He was upset about the game last night", said Pau Gasol, who added he had spoken to Marc since Sunday night. I'm sure they knew that would hurt me the most.

After a thorough evaluation, I decided a change in course was necessary to move forward and provide the team and organization its best chance at success this season and beyond, Memphis Grizzlies' general manager, Chris Wallace said in a statement today [Monday, November 27th]. Fizdale was sacked on Monday following a run of eight straight losses.

Fizdale became the franchise's 13th head coach on May 29, 2016, and he went 50-51. And for much of that stretch, they've been without star point guard Mike Conley. They did, however, beat the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets on back-to-back nights in October.

A day later, Grizzlies brass fired Fizdale.
