According to Noble's lawsuit, it was "common practice" of Weinstein and "well-known" to his brother Bob Weinstein that Harvey Weinstein would travel overseas and to different states to recruit, solicit and entice young female actresses with promises of film roles only to then use force, fraud or coercion to engage them in sex.

The lawsuit goes on to implicate Bob Weinstein and their company, saying, "Bob Weinstein and the Weinstein Company LLC participated in this venture of Harvey Weinstein, knowing, or in reckless disregard of the fact, that he would use force, fraud or coercion to engage aspiring young actresses in sexual activity".

'He informed her that she needed to relax, and if she did, his people would have all of her details and would "take care of everything" for her, ' reads the complaint. She is also suing the Weinstein Co. and brother Bob, claiming that they were aware of his behaviour, contributing to his foreign travel to recruit women into "forced or coerced sexual encounters".

"Harvey Weinstein was able to force or coerce Kadian into sexual activity in his hotel room because of his promise to her of a film role and use of his influence on her behalf", states Noble's 11-page federal complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NY.

The lawsuit, filed in NY, goes on to say that despite telling him to stop, he "forcibly pulled" her into the bathroom where he stripped and groped her, forcing her to perform sexual acts. Weinstein didn't bring her to France, he just ran into her there and invited her up to his room, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her. Her lawyer Jeff Herman filed the lawsuit.

Bob Weinstein is yet to respond to the suit, but has denied any knowledge in his brother Harvey's alleged misconduct.

Weinstein also asked Kadian to "walk up and down the room for him" as part of an "audition", the lawsuit said.

She alleges Weinstein told her they could work together if she was "a good girl" and did "whatever he wished".

On her Web site, per Deadline, Greenfield compared this suit to several unfolding US investigations of Weinstein.

'Harvey Weinstein ultimately forced Kadian into sexual acts'.

The case is said to be pretty solid and could earn Harvey Weinstein and associates 10 years to life in prison if tried in the United States.

As well as denying allegations of non-consensual sex, Weinstein has said - in a statement issued on his behalf - that "there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances". If this case ends up holding up in court, it could mean other lawsuits that couldn't have been filed due to shorter statutes of limitations.
