U.S. President Donald Trump has welcomed the CNN network's boycott of his upcoming Christmas party.

Trump, who personally selected the decor, says she wanted to make the White House feel like home over the holidays. Sources at the system disclosed to POLITICO that a Trump tweet a weekend ago reprimanding CNN International was seen as particularly bothering, in light of the conviction that it endangered writers working in perilous areas or nations antagonistic to a free press.

The White House says 25,000 visitors are expected to take special Christmas tours of the building during the holidays.

"So you want to show me how to do it?" she asked after sitting at a table with four students.

Although not mentioned in its Tuesday announcement, CNN took particular issue with a Saturday tweet from Trump in which the president ripped the network and its worldwide news branch for "represent [ing] our Nation to the WORLD very poorly".

The bakers at White House made a huge gingerbread in the shape of the Presidential residence.

For the special event that also included the Pageant of Peace ceremony the first family was joined by hosts Dean Cain and Kathy Lee Gifford on the White House Ellipse

MELANIA TRUMP showcased her vision of Christmas as she unveiled the White House's decorations yesterday - but her choices soon became mocked on Twitter. "The outside world does not see reality from them!"

The Obamas on the other hand always sent out a Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings card. A separate tree near the East Wing entrance is dedicated to families that lost loved ones in the military. During the presidential campaign, he complained that saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" amounted to "chipping away at Christianity".

Spicer in his interview argued that the media is "doing a disservice" to the White House's invitation. The White House said Mrs. Trump chose every detail of the decor and did a final check late Sunday after returning from the family's Thanksgiving at their estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

"Great, and we should boycott Fake News CNN".

Other decorations, according to include 53 Christmas trees, more than 12,000 ornaments, 18,000 feet of Christmas lights, and 71 wreaths. Fifty-six Lego gingerbread houses, one for each state and USA territory, were nestled in the branches of the trees that decorated the State Dining Room.
