Conor McGregor Shows Up Late For Court Hearing Over Speeding Violation

The UFC star was due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court this morning but initially failed to show.

The judge said: "I would warn, however, despite your fortune in life, that you take cognisance of other people on the roads". "Please don't tell me you earn more than €110 million in a day?"

The Dubliner arrived at court to accept his fine in the afternoon.

He was charged with going over the 60 miles per hour speed limit in Dublin on March 13.

He said: "What I heard was that I tried my best to pay for it". After the hearing, McGregor walked outside, flanked by his lawyers and mobbed by paparazzi, hopped in his ridiculously expensive sports vehicle, rolled down the window and yelled, "Come and get me!" as the driver sped away. He pleaded guilty and paid his fine.

His solicitor admitted he did not know where McGregor was, and the judge reacted with fury.

The Mirror reports that Conor McGregor was fined £350 ($473) for speeding after showing up late to a court hearing over the chare.

He was wearing a matching pair of green Adidas jogging bottoms and sweatshirt along with white trainers.

Under current Irish laws, speeding results in a fine of €80 (£70) with three penalty points.
