John Mayer Has Been Hospitalised For Emergency Surgery

Dead & Company's next show - following the postponed New Orleans one - is scheduled for Orlando, Florida on Thursday.

The Grammy-winning musician was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 5, according to a rep. According to the post from Dead & Company, who are now wrapping up their fall tour together, the band is forced to postpone tonight's show in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center.

Mayer has been playing with Dead & Company since the bands' inception in 2015.

There is no news yet on the surgery's outcome. Information on the rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible. The singer-guitarist was due to perform later that night at a concert with the Dead & Company, but that date has now been postponed.

The ECB Cricket Disciplinary Committee will only discuss the actions of both players when news of Stokes's charge comes through. The ECB has also cleared Hales to play in the inaugural T10 Cricket League in Dubai this month.

While the group doesn't now have anything scheduled after its Friday concert until next February, Mayer has a few solo shows lined up for this month.

Mayer is also scheduled to perform a December 12 at the Masonic in San Francisco.

Whether or not he will be able to perform at these December shows has not yet been announced.
