This legislation is unsafe for the state of MA, our law enforcement officers, and our residents.

U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) also voted to allow law-abiding gun owners with a concealed carry permit to exercise their rights when traveling across state lines.

Opponents of the bill said it would override state laws and increase crime.

"I urge the Senate to reject this disastrous legislation". We wouldn't recommend holding your breathe in hopes of a quick ruling, however.

"I'm proud of Texas, our history of responsible gun ownership and our requirements for a license to carry that seek to protect the ones we love from abusers, violent offenders, and stalkers", he added.

Pizza Hut starts delivering beer and wine in Arizona
The pizza chain's parent company, Yum! By the end of the year, the company expects to hire 14,000 new drivers. On Tuesday the pizza chain announced plans to start testing beer and wine deliveries in certain cities.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, flanked by members of Congress and district attorneys from across the country, expresses opposition to a bill later approved in the House of Representatives to allow a nationwide concealed-carry reciprocity for gun owners.

The votes fell largely along partisan lines with most Democrats voting against the bill and Republicans voting in favor, although six Democrats voted in favor of the bill while 14 Republicans voted against it. Named for Michael Boeglin, a 31 year old owner-operator who was shot to death while waiting to pick up a load in Detroit in 2014, Mike's Law called for nationwide hide and carry reciprocity for truck drivers on the job.

MacArthur said that the legislation will prevent wrongful convictions of people like Shaneen Allen, a Pennsylvania nurse who in 2013 was arrested in New Jersey for carrying her weapon, something that she did not think violated any laws since she had a permit issued from her state.
