Apple acquires Canadian start-up Buddybuild, a mobile iteration platform

According to the company, over half a billion people visit the App Store every week.

But instead of simply announcing its yearly sales, or total downloads, or other key stats, it gives investors and users a few seemingly random data points.

Apple has been prioritising its services business, which includes the App Store, as global smartphone sales slow.

The California-based giant has acquired a Canada-based startup named Buddybuild, an app tools startup that describes itself as "mobile iteration platform" focused on continuous integration and debugging tools.

Consumers spent more than $890m over the seven days starting on Christmas Eve.

The slightly more premium 64GB internal storage variant costs 1699 Yuan, again approximately Rs 16,610. According to a report from NokiaPowerUser , HMD Global will launch the Nokia 7 in India this month.

Apple's payout to developers was 30% more than a year ago. Apple's four software platforms - iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS - provide seamless experiences across all Apple devices and empower people with breakthrough services including the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Pay and iCloud.

App Store® customers around the world made apps and games a bigger part of their holiday season in 2017 than ever before, culminating in $300 million in purchases made on New Year's Day 2018. And with Apple's growing emphasis on Augmented Reality, there are now 2,000 ARKit enabled apps on the shelves. That service today operates as Apple's online service for over-the-air installation and testing of mobile applications offered to developers in the iOS Developer Program.

Meanwhile, Buddybuild says, "For iOS developers, Buddybuild can take care of all the work associated with code signing, and managing provisioning profiles for you".
