Sony is all set to launch the next version of its mid-range smartphones called the Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra, and the low-end Xperia L2.

The phones are expected to be launched at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) or at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next month in Barcelona.

According to Evan the phones will switch from a Mediatek processor to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, with the XA2 coming with 3GB RAM/32GB Storage, while the XA2 Ultra will have 4GB/6GB.

The horrified passenger woke up and allegedly found her shirt and trousers unbuttoned, and the man's hand inside her trousers . Stephen Schuler, a spokesman for Spirit, said that it was cooperating with law enforcement on the incident.

Sony's mid-range XA line is now on its third-generation with the XA2 and XA2 Ultra (via VentureBeat). As far as the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra are concerned, they still share Sony's familiar loop design. Both handsets should sport 1080p screens in different sizes: 5.2 inches on the Xperia XA2, and 6 inches on the Xperia XA2 Ultra. All the three smartphones - Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 may not differ - at all - when it comes to the design segment, however, specification-wise the devices may see some major changes compared to its predecessors.

This is pretty much a first from Sony and we can also add dual cameras to that list. The XA2 Ultra, meanwhile, reports the same rear camera configuration, plus dual 15MP selfie cams, which are also capable of 4K video capture.

"As for the more affordable Xperia L2, not too much is known yet, but it has a 5.2" HD display and will likely come with Android "Nougat" when it ships. The fingerprint scanner is located just below the camera module on the back side. It also remains to be seen whether both flagships can replicate the success of the Xperia A1 models since that apparently is a tall order to fill given the features for the price tag of said phones. The device will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. In terms of the camera, the XA2 will include a 23MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front.
